JANA RADWAN

all about me

Hi, I’m Jana. I’m an interaction designer at the University of Washington, originally from the Bay Area, and even more originally from Cairo, Egypt.

I’m interested in how people, cultures, and systems intersect, and how design might respond with care. I try to approach design as a practice of attention—shaped by research, making as a form of learning, and my background as an Egyptian immigrant. I do my best to design for specificity rather than universal solutions.

Outside of design, I brew tea, ride public transit without a destination, listen to audiobooks and podcasts, and walk until it’s time to Uber home.

If you’d like to learn more, I urge you to reach out!! I’m always excited to get to know new people :)
